Role Overview

As an EOD Logistics Support Technician, you'll be the backbone of readiness for the 801 Red Horse Training Squadron. You'll oversee specialized equipment, tactical vehicles, mobility packages, and training assets—ensuring every resource meets rigorous operational standards and is prepared for mission-critical training exercises.

Core Duties

• Develop and implement equipment maintenance schedules, validation procedures, and tracking documentation to eliminate readiness gaps.
• Conduct thorough and recurring audits of EOD Unit Type Code (UTC) mobility packages and specialized tactical support equipment.
• Coordinate with the Squadron Vehicle Management NCO to oversee the EOD vehicle fleet maintenance schedule, operational tracking, and AFI 24-302 compliance.
• Organize and secure all student training equipment storage areas, maintaining accountability, proper organization, and mission-ready condition at all times.
• Manage controlled issuance and return of EOD tactical equipment during Conventional Survivability Training Readiness exercises, documenting all accountability, damage, and loss reports.

Skills & Qualifications

• Naval School Explosive Ordnance Disposal (NAVSCOLEOD) graduate
• Prior or current EOD Senior Badge certification
• Minimum 8 years of active-duty Air Force experience in EOD logistics operations and asset management
• Proven proficiency with Air Force logistics systems and supply chain platforms
• Operational knowledge of the EOD Information Management System (EODIMS)
• Valid United States driver's license
• Current Secret security clearance (or ability to obtain)
