Party & Event Host

Join Michaels as a Party & Event Host at our Tustin-1212 Irvine Blvd location. We're seeking a full-time team member who brings energy, enthusiasm, and creativity to host engaging in-store events and create memorable experiences for customers passionate about crafts and DIY.

Position Summary

As a Party & Event Host at Michaels in Tustin, you'll be the heart of our community events program. You'll lead workshops, demonstrations, and celebrations that bring customers together around their creative interests. This full-time position offers the opportunity to build genuine connections with craft enthusiasts, families, and makers while showcasing the diverse products and inspiration available at our Tustin store.

Your Responsibilities

• Plan, coordinate, and execute in-store events, craft classes, and seasonal celebrations
• Welcome and engage customers, creating an inviting and inclusive atmosphere for all participants
• Demonstrate craft techniques and showcase product applications to inspire attendees
• Manage event logistics including setup, material preparation, and cleanup
• Oversee event registrations and communicate event details to registered participants
• Recommend products and craft solutions tailored to customer interests and skill levels
• Maintain a clean, organized, and visually appealing event space
• Collaborate with store team members to drive customer engagement and support store objectives
