Role Overview

As a Stocker at Michaels in Arvada, you'll maintain inventory excellence by stocking merchandise, organizing displays, and ensuring our store operates smoothly. This is a hands-on position ideal for individuals who take pride in creating a clean, well-organized retail space that enhances the shopping experience. You'll work as part of a team dedicated to helping customers find what they need while keeping inventory accurate and accessible.

Key Responsibilities

• Stock shelves and product displays throughout the store with merchandise, ensuring proper organization and visibility
• Receive, unpack, and sort incoming inventory shipments
• Organize storage areas to maximize space and maintain inventory accuracy
• Monitor stock levels and flag items that need replenishment
• Rotate stock following FIFO (first-in, first-out) principles to ensure product freshness
• Assist customers with product location and information when needed
• Keep work areas clean and safe, adhering to store safety and cleanliness standards
• Support store operations by responding to restocking requests from sales and customer service teams

Qualifications

• Ability to stand, bend, lift, and carry items regularly throughout shifts
• Physical capacity to lift up to 50 pounds frequently
• Attention to detail and organizational skills
• Reliable attendance and punctuality
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Willingness to follow instructions and store procedures
• Comfort with basic technology including store systems and equipment
