Michaels is hiring a full-time Service Team Member at our Gainesville location in the Stonewall Shops Square shopping center, where you'll deliver outstanding customer service and support craft enthusiasts throughout their shopping journey.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Greet customers with a welcoming attitude and help them locate products and gather information about items
• Answer product questions with accuracy and provide thoughtful recommendations tailored to customer needs
• Process customer purchases at the register, handling cash and card transactions reliably
• Manage returns, exchanges, and refunds in accordance with company procedures
• Maintain an organized, clean, and well-stocked sales floor throughout your shift
• Support special order requests and resolve customer service issues professionally
• Collaborate with teammates to keep operations running smoothly and efficiently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent preferred
• Prior experience in customer service or retail, or a demonstrated ability to engage professionally with customers
• Strong communication and active listening skills
• Comfort with point-of-sale systems and basic cash handling, or eagerness to develop these skills
• Willingness to stand throughout your shift and perform physical tasks as needed
• Availability to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends
• Ability to travel reliably to our Gainesville store at Stonewall Shops Square
