Frozen Stocker / Clerk

Join Hyvee as a Frozen Stocker / Clerk at our Wausau, S 18th Ave location. This full-time position is an essential role supporting our frozen food section, where you'll help keep products well-stocked, organized, and readily accessible to our customers.

What This Role Involves

As a Frozen Stocker / Clerk, you'll be responsible for maintaining our frozen food inventory and ensuring a positive shopping experience. Working in our freezer environment, you'll manage product placement, handle stock rotation, assist customers, and uphold the cleanliness and safety standards that make Hyvee a trusted grocery destination in Wausau.

What You'll Do

• Stock and replenish frozen food products on shelves and in freezer cases throughout the day
• Rotate inventory using FIFO (first-in, first-out) principles to maintain product freshness
• Arrange displays and update signage to highlight products and pricing clearly
• Help customers locate frozen items and answer questions about products
• Monitor stock levels and communicate needs to management
• Clean and organize freezer units, shelving, and surrounding areas
• Operate freezer equipment safely and report any maintenance concerns
• Follow company safety, sanitation, and merchandising standards consistently

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Ability to work comfortably in cold temperature environments
• Physical capability to lift, carry, and move heavy boxes and products regularly
• Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
• Friendly, customer-focused attitude and communication style
• Reliability and willingness to work flexible schedules, including evenings and weekends
