Registered Pharmacist Full Time

Join Hyvee as a Registered Pharmacist in our Osage Beach location on Highway D. We're looking for a dedicated pharmacy professional to provide expert patient care, medication management, and clinical services in a full-time position at this busy community pharmacy.

About the Role

As a Registered Pharmacist at Hyvee, you'll be the clinical backbone of our pharmacy operation, ensuring every customer receives accurate, safe, and compassionate medication therapy management. This full-time role combines direct patient interaction with operational responsibilities, giving you the opportunity to make a real difference in the Osage Beach community's health and wellness. You'll work with a team that values both pharmacy excellence and customer service, applying your expertise to fill prescriptions, counsel patients, and collaborate with healthcare providers.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Fill and verify prescriptions with accuracy and attention to detail, adhering to all state and federal pharmacy regulations
• Counsel patients on medication usage, potential side effects, and drug interactions
• Manage inventory, maintain stock levels, and ensure proper pharmaceutical storage and handling
• Collaborate with physicians and healthcare providers regarding patient medication therapy
• Perform immunizations and other clinical services as authorized in Missouri
• Monitor and maintain patient prescription records and insurance information
• Train and supervise pharmacy technicians and support staff
• Ensure compliance with DEA, state board of pharmacy, and HIPAA requirements

Skills & Qualifications

• Current Missouri Pharmacy License (Registered Pharmacist)
• Doctor of Pharmacy (PharmD) degree from an accredited institution
• Strong communication and patient education skills
• Proficiency with pharmacy management software and computer systems
• Attention to detail and commitment to medication safety
• Ability to work in a fast-paced retail pharmacy environment
• Team collaboration and leadership capabilities
