Service Manager

Hyvee is seeking a Service Manager to lead customer service operations at our Des Moines #3 location on Park Avenue in Des Moines, IA. This full-time position offers an opportunity to make a direct impact on customer satisfaction and team performance in a fast-paced retail environment.

Position Summary

As Service Manager at Hyvee's Des Moines #3 store, you'll oversee all customer-facing service operations and lead the front-end team to deliver the exceptional experience our customers expect. Your leadership will shape the store's service culture, resolve customer concerns, maintain quality standards, and ensure smooth daily operations. You'll work hands-on alongside your team while driving accountability and continuous improvement across service metrics.

Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Supervise and mentor customer service, cashier, and front-end staff members
• Address customer concerns and complaints with professionalism and care
• Maintain consistent service standards and operational procedures
• Schedule staff effectively and manage labor allocation
• Train team members on customer service best practices and company policies
• Coordinate with department leads to support seamless store operations
• Monitor service metrics, performance data, and team productivity
• Support promotional activities, special events, and seasonal initiatives
