Position Summary

As a Fast and Fresh Clerk at Hyvee's Cumming store, you'll be central to our convenience operations, ensuring customers receive prompt, friendly service while maintaining a clean, well-stocked, professionally run store. This full-time position offers the opportunity to develop practical retail skills in a dynamic environment where your contributions directly impact customer satisfaction and store success.

Responsibilities

• Operate registers and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Stock shelves and displays with merchandise, maintaining proper organization and product rotation
• Assist customers with product inquiries and help locate items throughout the store
• Maintain cleanliness and orderliness of the sales floor, restrooms, and stockroom
• Monitor and report inventory levels; perform cycle counts as assigned
• Follow food safety and Hyvee operational standards in all daily tasks
• Support team members and work collaboratively to meet store objectives

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED preferred
• Strong customer service skills and a welcoming attitude
• Ability to work a flexible retail schedule, including evenings and weekends
• Capability to stand for extended periods and lift items up to 50 pounds
• Attention to detail and commitment to maintaining store cleanliness and organization
• Basic math skills and comfort with point-of-sale systems
• Reliable transportation to our Cumming, IA location
