Role Overview

As a Market Grille Express Clerk, you'll be the face of our prepared foods section, ensuring customers receive fresh, quality products and outstanding service. This role combines food preparation expertise with customer engagement, making you essential to our store's reputation for excellence. Day-to-Day Responsibilities

• Prepare and package fresh food items in accordance with Hyvee quality and food safety standards
• Maintain organized, attractive product displays and signage throughout the Market Grille Express section
• Operate point-of-sale equipment and process customer transactions accurately and efficiently
• Assist customers with product selection, preparation requests, and special orders
• Monitor inventory levels and report stock needs to ensure product availability
• Maintain strict cleanliness and sanitation practices in all work areas
• Follow all company policies, health codes, and food safety protocols

Qualifications

• Ability to work full-time retail hours, including early mornings, evenings, and weekends
• Food service or retail experience preferred
• Strong customer service and communication skills
• Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation
