Position Summary

As a Senior Quality Engineer at Ecolab's Pune facility, you'll play a pivotal role in establishing and maintaining the highest quality standards across our operations. This full-time position offers the opportunity to lead quality assurance strategies, mentor team members, and influence product and service excellence from concept through delivery. You'll work with cross-functional teams to identify process improvements, implement quality frameworks, and ensure our deliverables consistently exceed customer expectations.

Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive quality assurance strategies and test plans aligned with project requirements and business objectives
• Lead quality assurance activities including test design, test execution, and defect management across multiple projects
• Mentor and guide junior quality engineers, fostering a culture of continuous learning and quality excellence
• Identify process gaps and recommend improvements to enhance testing efficiency, coverage, and effectiveness
• Collaborate with product development, operations, and customer teams to understand requirements and ensure quality outcomes
• Track, analyse, and report quality metrics and trends to stakeholders and leadership
• Champion quality best practices and automation initiatives to optimise team productivity

What We're Looking For

• 5+ years of professional quality assurance and testing experience, with 2+ years in a senior or lead capacity
• Deep expertise in test strategy, test case design, and defect lifecycle management
• Demonstrated experience leading quality teams and mentoring junior staff members
• Strong technical knowledge of software testing methodologies, tools, and frameworks
• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills
• Experience with process improvement and implementing quality management systems
• Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent professional experience)
