Baker

Join Coffeeandbagelbrands as a full-time Baker at our Livermore, California location (1412 1st St). We're looking for a skilled, dedicated baker to help us deliver fresh, quality baked goods and bagels to our customers every day.

What This Role Involves

As our Baker, you'll be the foundation of our daily operations. You'll arrive early each morning to prepare dough, monitor baking processes, and ensure every item meets our standards for taste, texture, and presentation. This is hands-on work that requires attention to detail, physical stamina, and genuine passion for baking craft. Your work directly impacts the customer experience, and we rely on your expertise and consistency.

Responsibilities

• Prepare dough and batters according to established recipes and techniques
• Operate ovens and baking equipment, adjusting temperatures and timing as needed
• Monitor baked goods throughout the baking process to ensure quality and prevent over or under-baking
• Shape, proof, and portion bagels and other baked items
• Maintain cleanliness and food safety standards throughout the bakery workspace
• Inspect finished products for quality and freshness before they reach customers
• Manage inventory of baking ingredients and supplies
• Follow health codes and safety protocols at all times

Who We're Looking For

• Previous bakery or baking experience (1+ years preferred)
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredients, and equipment operation
• Ability to work early morning shifts (typical bakery hours)
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods, lift bags of flour and ingredients, and perform repetitive motions
• Attention to detail and commitment to food safety and sanitation
• Reliable, punctual, and team-oriented mindset
• Willingness to learn and adapt to our specific recipes and processes
