Join Coffeeandbagelbrands as a Baker at our Overland Park, KS location on 8700 W 135th St, where you'll craft fresh bagels, breads, and pastries daily for our growing customer base. This is a full-time position for a skilled baker committed to quality, consistency, and customer satisfaction.

Position Summary

As a Baker at Coffeeandbagelbrands, you'll be responsible for preparing, mixing, and baking bagels, breads, pastries, and other bakery items according to established recipes and quality standards. You'll work in a fast-paced kitchen environment, managing dough preparation, fermentation, shaping, proofing, and baking operations. This role is essential to delivering the fresh, high-quality baked goods our customers expect daily.

Core Duties

• Prepare dough and batters using proper mixing techniques and ingredient measurements
• Shape and portion bagels, rolls, and pastries by hand and using equipment
• Monitor baking times and temperatures to ensure consistent product quality
• Maintain cleanliness and sanitation standards in the bakery and kitchen areas
• Manage inventory of baking ingredients and notify management of supply needs
• Operate bakery equipment safely and perform routine maintenance
• Coordinate with kitchen and service teams to meet production schedules
• Follow food safety protocols and company procedures

Who We're Looking For

• Proven experience as a baker or in a bakery production role
• Knowledge of baking techniques, ingredient functionality, and fermentation processes
• Ability to work early mornings and flexible scheduling as needed
• Physical capability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 50 pounds regularly
• Strong attention to detail and commitment to food quality and safety
• Excellent time management and teamwork skills
• Bakery certifications or formal culinary training preferred but not required
