Pfizer is recruiting for a Manager Compliance to join its full-time team in Ahmedabad, India. This is an on-site position for a compliance professional committed to maintaining regulatory excellence and operational integrity.

Role Overview

As a Compliance Manager, you will oversee the design, implementation, and maintenance of compliance programmes across operational areas. You'll ensure the organisation meets all applicable regulatory requirements and company policies, protecting both the business and its stakeholders. This role offers the opportunity to drive compliance culture and contribute directly to Pfizer's commitment to governance and ethical practice in India.

What You'll Do

  • Develop and execute compliance frameworks aligned with local regulatory requirements and international best practices
  • Monitor regulatory changes and amendments affecting operations, and communicate implications across departments
  • Conduct compliance audits, inspections, and investigations to identify gaps and control weaknesses
  • Prepare and maintain compliance documentation, records, and reports for internal and external stakeholders
  • Deliver training and awareness programmes to embed compliance understanding across the organisation
  • Partner with regulatory authorities and external bodies as required
  • Assess compliance risks and recommend mitigation strategies
  • Manage compliance incidents and ensure appropriate corrective actions are implemented

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in law, business, life sciences, pharmacy, or related discipline
  • Minimum 5–7 years of compliance management experience in a regulated industry, preferably pharmaceuticals or healthcare
  • Strong knowledge of Indian regulatory frameworks and compliance standards
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills
  • Proven ability to manage multiple priorities, analyse complex information, and recommend solutions
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and compliance management tools
  • Attention to detail and a commitment to accuracy and thoroughness
