About the Role

As a Principal Scientist within MSAT (Manufacturing Science and Technology), you will sit at the core of Pfizer Global Supply, the organization responsible for converting advanced science into reliable, large-scale production. Based on-site in Andover, Essex County, you will apply technical leadership across the product lifecycle, from technology transfer through commercial manufacturing, to keep robust and compliant processes running smoothly.

Key Responsibilities

• Lead and support technology transfer activities, moving processes between development and commercial manufacturing sites.
• Drive process validation efforts to confirm that commercial manufacturing operations remain dependable and consistent.
• Provide scientific and technical guidance for ongoing and clinical-stage processes.
• Troubleshoot process challenges and recommend data-driven improvements that strengthen product quality and supply continuity.
• Partner with cross-functional teams to translate complex science and technology into manufacturable, scalable therapies and vaccines.

Qualifications

• Strong scientific background relevant to pharmaceutical or biopharmaceutical manufacturing science and technology (MSAT).
• Demonstrated experience with technology transfer and process validation in a regulated commercial environment.
• Proven ability to lead technical initiatives and solve complex process problems.
• Excellent collaboration and communication skills for working across scientific, engineering, and operations teams.
• Willingness to work on-site in Andover, Essex County (this is not a remote position).
