Bartender

Join Pfchangs as a Bartender at our Providence, RI location (111 Providence Place, Providence, RI, 02903) and deliver exceptional beverage service in a dynamic, guest-focused environment. This is a full-time position where you'll craft cocktails, build guest relationships, and contribute to a high-energy dining experience.

About the Role

We're seeking a skilled Bartender to join our Providence team. In this role, you'll operate behind the bar as a core member of our service staff, preparing and serving beverages with precision, professionalism, and attention to detail. You'll work in a fast-paced environment serving guests at the bar and supporting dining-room beverage service, ensuring every interaction reflects our commitment to hospitality.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare and serve cocktails, beers, wines, and non-alcoholic beverages according to recipes and guest preferences
• Maintain bar cleanliness, organization, and inventory levels throughout shifts
• Check IDs and follow all alcohol service regulations and company policies
• Engage guests with knowledge and personality, building rapport and encouraging repeat visits
• Ring transactions accurately and handle cash and card payments responsibly
• Collaborate with servers, hosts, and kitchen staff to ensure smooth service flow
• Respond to guest requests and resolve any service concerns promptly

Skills & Qualifications

• Bartending experience (or equivalent demonstrated knowledge of bar operations and cocktail preparation)
• Current ServSafe Alcohol or equivalent certification required in Rhode Island
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment while maintaining accuracy and composure
• Basic math skills and familiarity with point-of-sale systems
• Professional appearance and positive attitude
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25+ lbs
