Assistant Lead Personal Trainer

Lifetime is looking for an Assistant Lead Personal Trainer to join our fitness team at our Woodstock location. This is a full-time position for a dedicated fitness professional ready to help clients achieve their health and wellness goals.

What This Role Involves

As an Assistant Lead Personal Trainer, you'll work directly with clients at our Woodstock facility, providing expert guidance on exercise, nutrition coaching, and personalized training programs. You'll combine hands-on client sessions with team support and may mentor newer trainers as part of your assistant lead responsibilities. This role is central to delivering the high-quality fitness experience our members expect.

Your Responsibilities

• Design and deliver personalized training programs tailored to individual client goals and fitness levels
• Conduct fitness assessments and track client progress over time
• Teach proper exercise form and technique to prevent injury
• Build positive relationships with clients and support their long-term fitness journey
• Assist in training and developing team members where applicable
• Maintain equipment safety standards and facility cleanliness in training areas
• Stay current with fitness industry trends and best practices

What We're Looking For

• Current personal training certification (ACE, NASM, ISSA, or equivalent recognized credential)
• Proven experience as a personal trainer, ideally in a group fitness setting
• Strong knowledge of exercise science, kinesiology, and fitness programming
• Excellent communication and motivational skills
• Ability to work well with diverse client populations
• Professional demeanor and commitment to client safety
• Availability for flexible scheduling including evenings and weekends
