Role Overview

As Assistant Store Manager at Levistraussandco, you'll partner with the Store Manager to deliver outstanding operations and customer service. You'll lead shifts, mentor team members, and ensure our stores run smoothly while maintaining the brand standards our customers expect. This fixed-term position provides hands-on experience in retail management, merchandising, and team leadership in a fast-paced, customer-focused environment.

Your Responsibilities

• Support daily store operations and maintain smooth, efficient workflows
• Lead and supervise team members, providing coaching and guidance on service and sales excellence
• Manage the sales floor, including visual merchandising, inventory presentation, and product placement
• Assist with inventory management, stock rotation, and loss prevention
• Deliver exceptional customer service and resolve customer concerns with professionalism
• Monitor sales performance and support achievement of store targets
• Complete administrative tasks, scheduling, and communications as directed by Store Management

Requirements

• Retail management experience or demonstrated leadership in a customer-facing environment
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills with the ability to motivate and support team members
• Excellent customer service orientation and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work flexible scheduling, including evenings and weekends as needed
• Proficiency with point-of-sale systems and basic computer skills
• Physical ability to stand for extended periods and perform sales floor duties
