Maintenance Technician – EPA Certified

What This Role Involves

As a Maintenance Technician - EPA Certified at our Chamblee, GA property, you'll manage the day-to-day repair, maintenance, and upkeep that keeps our residential community operating smoothly. This full-time role blends hands-on technical work—diagnosing and fixing systems—with collaborative work alongside a skilled maintenance team. Your EPA certification and multi-trade expertise will be central to the position. Whether addressing urgent repairs or planning preventive maintenance, you'll work independently while contributing to a coordinated team committed to resident satisfaction and property excellence.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute and complete daily work orders for occupied and vacant residential units
• Manage apartment turnovers, including inspections and preparation for incoming residents
• Diagnose and perform repairs on heating and cooling systems, electrical systems, plumbing, appliances, and carpentry
• Maintain community grounds, amenities, and pool facilities to safety and aesthetic standards
• Collaborate with the maintenance team to prioritize work and keep operations efficient and responsive

Skills & Qualifications

• Minimum three years of residential or apartment maintenance experience
• Valid EPA Certification (Type II or Universal)
• Demonstrated capability in HVAC repair and troubleshooting
• Dependable, customer-focused work ethic and attention to detail
• Ability to work independently and as an effective team contributor
• Capacity to manage multiple priorities in a dynamic environment
• Reliable personal transportation
• Proficiency with computers, mobile devices, and digital work order systems
• Golf cart operation skills
• Physical ability to lift up to 75 pounds and work year-round indoors and outdoors
• Ability to safely climb stairs and ladders
• Experience with hand tools and power tools
• Willingness to pass a background check
