Senior Program Manager, Physical Security Operations

Anduril Industries is seeking a Senior Program Manager, Physical Security Operations in Costa Mesa, California to lead enterprise-wide physical security strategy across our growing network of facilities. In this full-time role, you will serve as a trusted security advisor to senior leadership, establishing governance frameworks, managing compliance requirements, and driving operational excellence across multiple sites.

Role Overview

This position represents an opportunity for an experienced security leader to shape how a rapidly expanding defense technology company safeguards its operations. You'll develop and refine physical security strategy across geographically dispersed facilities, balance regulatory compliance with operational demands, and translate emerging threats into comprehensive mitigation strategies aligned with DoD, DCSA, NISPOM, ITAR, and CUI requirements.

Key Responsibilities

• Establish and drive physical security strategy across multiple sites with consistent application of global standards.
• Create enterprise-wide policies, standard operating procedures, and governance frameworks; monitor compliance and update as regulations and threats evolve.
• Partner with Government Security, Legal, and Trade Compliance teams to safeguard controlled unclassified information and ITAR-regulated materials through appropriate controls, including Technology Control Plans.
• Plan and oversee physical security vulnerability assessments across facilities; translate findings into actionable remediation plans and capital investment proposals.
• Manage contract guard force programs through vendor oversight, performance metrics, service level agreements, and cost accountability.
• Own budget development for physical security operations, including operating and capital forecasting, procurement management, and financial reporting.
• Build performance metrics frameworks; define and track key performance indicators and service level agreements for continuous improvement.
• Collaborate across Facilities, IT, Legal, HR, Finance, Procurement, and Government Security to deliver integrated security solutions.

Requirements

• 12+ years of progressive experience in physical security or security operations within complex, multi-site environments.
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent combination of education and professional experience.
• Demonstrated expertise in physical security operations, regulatory compliance, and enterprise governance.
• Proven track record developing and executing security strategy across multiple locations.
• Working knowledge of Controlled Unclassified Information (CUI) and ITAR compliance, including Technology Control Plans.
• Experience conducting physical security vulnerability assessments and developing mitigation strategies.
• Substantial experience managing contract security vendors, Master Service Agreements, and performance oversight.
• Experience developing and managing security program budgets—both operating and capital expenses.
• Strong analytical skills and ability to define, measure, and report on performance metrics.
• Excellent communication and influence skills with senior leadership and cross-functional partners.
• Ability to obtain and maintain a U.S. Government Security Clearance.
