About This Position
We're looking for an Engineering Manager who can build high-performing engineering teams, foster a collaborative technical culture, and help shape our product roadmap. This remote Engineering Manager role lets you lead engineering strategy and development from anywhere in the United States while maintaining direct involvement in technical decisions.
Responsibilities
- Lead, mentor, and develop a team of engineers, providing feedback, career guidance, and growth opportunities
- Own hiring, onboarding, and retention for your engineering team
- Define technical priorities, roadmap, and execution plans aligned with business goals
- Work cross-functionally with product, design, and other teams to deliver features and improvements
- Conduct code reviews, architectural discussions, and maintain engineering standards
- Drive process improvements, tooling, and infrastructure that enable team velocity
- Communicate progress, blockers, and team needs to senior leadership
Skills & Qualifications
- 3+ years of experience leading engineering teams or managing software engineers
- Strong technical background with hands-on coding experience in a production environment
- Demonstrated ability to hire, mentor, and develop high-performing engineers
- Experience setting technical direction, planning roadmaps, and shipping products
- Excellent communication skills and ability to work with diverse stakeholder groups
- Comfortable with remote team management and async collaboration
