What This Role Involves

This is a production-centred graphic design internship where you'll take ownership of day-to-day design deliverables across digital and print formats. Your work directly enables the creative team to maintain visual momentum on projects, campaigns, and communications. You'll collaborate closely with experienced designers and the Social Media Manager, learning how strategic creative direction translates into finished design assets that engage audiences and support the organisation's cultural mission.

Your Responsibilities

  • Execute day-to-day graphic design production across digital platforms, social media, and print collateral
  • Prepare design assets, layouts, and visual materials based on creative briefs and strategic direction
  • Support the Social Media Manager and broader creative team by delivering polished, on-brand designs on schedule
  • Collaborate on design feedback, iterations, and refinement to ensure quality and brand consistency
  • Contribute to multiple design projects simultaneously, adapting quickly to shifting priorities and deadlines

What You Bring

  • Proficiency in core design software (Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, or equivalent)
  • A portfolio demonstrating graphic design work, layouts, or visual projects
  • Strong attention to detail and commitment to pixel-perfect execution
  • Ability to take direction, receive feedback constructively, and improve work iteratively
  • Reliable, organised, and genuinely interested in learning design best practices
  • Enthusiasm for cultural events, festivals, and visual storytelling (preferred)
