GRC Analyst (f,x,m)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential fintech organization seeking a GRC Analyst to join their Risk team in Berlin. In this role, you will own the operational engine of governance, risk, and compliance activities:

• Operate the compliance platform day-to-day: monitor control failures, coordinate remediation with process owners, and maintain audit-ready evidence
• Run the complete third-party risk lifecycle: conduct onboarding assessments, perform periodic reviews, collect evidence (SOC 2, ISO, C5 reports, data processing agreements), and maintain supplier directories and outsourcing registers
• Coordinate the business continuity management cycle: gather business impact analysis inputs from process owners, organize tests and exercises, and maintain continuity plans
• Maintain critical registers and trackers including risk registers and findings logs
• Support external audits (C5, ISO, banking partner audits): prepare evidence packages and manage audit request lists
• Administer the policy review cycle including controlled documents, review schedules, and approvals

What We're Looking For

• 2–4 years of experience in IT audit, process audit, business continuity management, or GRC operations
• Background from Big Four accounting firms, audit firms, or in-house roles supporting ISO 27001, SOC 2, or C5 certifications
• Strong understanding of what evidence auditors require and accept
• Demonstrated workpaper discipline with exceptional attention to detail
• Experience running or supporting vendor risk assessments
• Scale-up or fintech environment experience strongly preferred
• Ability to work in Berlin with flexible hybrid arrangements
