Graduate Teamleiter Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Graduate Team Leader for their last-mile distribution operations in Frankfurt an der Oder, Brandenburg.

In this role, you will:

• Lead and develop your team: Recruit, coach, and motivate drivers and logistics staff to achieve operational excellence. Plan team-building events to strengthen collaboration.
• Manage shift operations: Oversee shift scheduling, onboard new team members, and ensure smooth daily operations at the distribution hub.
• Coordinate deliveries: Take responsibility for incoming shipments, verify accuracy, and organize rapid solutions when items are missing to maintain inventory control.
• Drive process improvement: Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) continuously, ensure safety-first practices, and optimize operational efficiency.
• Collaborate cross-functionally: Work closely with customer success teams, central warehousing, and other distribution sites to deliver exceptional service.
• Ensure on-time departures: Coordinate driver schedules to meet promised delivery windows and maintain customer satisfaction.
• Contribute strategic ideas: From electric vehicle maintenance coordination to hub layout design and recruitment strategies, your input will shape logistics operations.

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree or vocational training in logistics, retail, or related field
• Initial leadership experience, whether professional or through coaching teams in other contexts
• Fluent German and good English communication skills
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Strong communication abilities and confident presence
• Data-driven decision-making approach using facts and metrics
