Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential logistics organization operating a state-of-the-art fulfillment center in the Berlin/Brandenburg area (Falkensee). As a Maintenance Engineer, you will take full ownership of material handling equipment during your shift, ensuring systems run at peak performance to support daily operations.
- Detect and resolve electrical and mechanical malfunctions in automated intralogistics systems, working closely with operational supervisors
- Collaborate directly with equipment suppliers on complex technical issues requiring external support
- Analyze system failures to identify root causes, prevent recurrence, and implement structural improvements
- Execute scheduled preventive maintenance programs to maximize system availability and uptime
- Coach and mentor junior maintenance colleagues to elevate overall team capabilities
What We're Looking For
- Ausbildung and/or Bachelor's or Master's degree in a technical field such as mechanical engineering, mechatronics, automation, or chemical engineering
- 7+ years of hands-on experience in technical maintenance or engineering roles
- Practical knowledge of electrical and mechanical systems, including measurement and camera systems
- Experience working with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management Systems) and/or ICS/SCADA tools
- Strong communication skills with a collaborative team approach
- Independent working style with initiative and goal-oriented problem-solving abilities
- Fluency in English and/or German
