Senior Technische*r Objektleiter*in (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Senior Technical Facility Manager to oversee the technical infrastructure of a highly automated fulfillment center in Oberhausen, North Rhine-Westphalia.

In this role, you will serve as the technical authority for the entire facility, ensuring seamless integration between building systems and advanced automation technology. Your responsibilities include:

• Maintaining full responsibility for the technical condition and operational safety of the automated facility, bridging the gap between building services and logistics processes
• Acting as the primary strategic contact for site leadership and interfacing with automation and engineering teams
• Managing critical system failures by coordinating specialized service providers under tight deadlines and conducting thorough root cause analyses
• Leading complex, high-value technical projects (CAPEX/OPEX) and managing specialized contracts for advanced cooling, IoT systems, and other infrastructure
• Utilizing advanced data models and IoT infrastructure tools to proactively identify and resolve systemic issues
• Overseeing substantial budgets and complex service contracts to ensure continuous technical readiness in a high-stakes environment

What We're Looking For

• Bachelor's or Master's degree in Facility Management, Building Services Engineering, Industrial Engineering, or a comparable technical discipline
• 5–7 years of solid professional experience in technical facility management, ideally supporting highly automated logistics centers with advanced material handling systems
• Fluent German and very good English language skills; valid Class B driving license
• Strong conceptual thinking abilities at the macro level, with the capacity to translate complex technical requirements into clear operational steps
• Owner mentality with exceptionally high technical standards and the ability to defend facility management requirements even under operational pressure
• Experience managing stakeholder relationships at senior leadership levels
