Teamleiter Logistik (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential logistics organization seeking a Logistics Team Leader for their fulfillment operation in Viernheim, Hesse. In this hands-on leadership role, you will be responsible for the daily success of warehouse operations.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Team Leadership: Lead, motivate, and inspire a team of 20+ warehouse associates daily. You will be their primary point of contact, provide coaching, and support their professional development.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration: Work closely with other team leads and shift management to proactively manage fulfillment center processes and maintain a positive, productive work environment.
• Daily Operations: Ensure all orders leave the facility on time, safely, and meeting quality standards. Maintain composure and provide stability during high-pressure situations.
• Process Improvement: Contribute ideas and work with leadership to continuously optimize logistics processes. Encourage your team to actively participate in improvement initiatives.
• Shift Management: Coordinate operations across two shifts (6:00-14:30 and 14:30-23:00, including Saturdays) within a 37.5-hour work week.

What We're Looking For

• Completed vocational training in logistics, hospitality, gastronomy, or a related field, OR minimum 1 year of proven experience in team leadership or a similar supervisory position in logistics
• Fluent German language skills required
• Good English language skills for communication within an international team
• Flexibility to work two-shift rotation including Saturdays
• Strong people skills and willingness to work hands-on alongside your team
• Ability to remain calm and decisive under pressure
• Passion for coaching and developing team members

Pay

Our client offers an annual salary between €34,000 and €38,000 gross, evaluated through annual performance reviews. Additional benefits include 30 vacation days per year, complimentary meals during shifts, employee discounts, learning and development opportunities, and above-average pension plan contributions.
