Werkstudent:in Controlling (m/w/d)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential renewable energy technology client seeking a working student in controlling to join their finance team in Berlin. In this role, you will take on meaningful responsibility while continuing your studies:

• Support monthly, quarterly, and annual closing processes, gaining hands-on experience in financial reporting
• Prepare reports and financial analyses that inform decision-making across departments and leadership
• Assist with intercompany reconciliations, ensuring accurate and timely internal accounting processes
• Analyze data quality in management reporting by investigating variances across P&L and balance sheet accounts
• Manage data flows between financial systems, ensuring consistency and accuracy in dashboards and reporting
• Execute data imports into consolidation databases, maintaining data integrity and completeness
• Contribute to controlling projects focused on process optimization and automation

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a business administration, business informatics, or related degree program with at least two semesters remaining
• Available to work 16-20 hours per week
• Strong Excel skills including pivot tables and advanced formulas
• Initial practical experience in accounting, controlling, or process automation
• Familiarity with DATEV, Lucanet, and/or Looker is a plus
• Excellent German language skills, both written and spoken
• Structured, independent working style with strong analytical thinking
• Motivated to take ownership rather than simply complete tasks
