About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential digital solutions organization based in Hamburg that delivers technology projects with significant societal impact. Our talent team is seeking a Senior Project Manager to lead large-scale IT initiatives within interdisciplinary teams. This role offers the opportunity to drive digital transformation across diverse technology stacks while working flexibly from Hamburg or remotely within Germany.
Responsibilities
- Lead large IT projects using agile, classical, or hybrid methodologies from inception through delivery
- Work with interdisciplinary teams to translate client requirements into IT solutions and processes, serving as Product Owner in agile setups
- Manage projects across diverse technology environments including CMS, form management systems, low-code platforms, custom application development, workplace solutions, and cloud infrastructure
- Provide strategic consulting on digital transformation throughout the project lifecycle
- Coordinate large interdisciplinary project teams and manage stakeholder interfaces across organizational levels
- Design and facilitate client workshops, developing strategies for efficient implementation of digital solutions
- Identify optimization opportunities in internal and external collaboration, develop targeted recommendations, and proactively shape change processes
- Contribute to methodology development and provide guidance to project management colleagues, as functional leadership is expected at senior level
What We're Looking For
- 5+ years of experience in IT project management with demonstrated project leadership capabilities
- Strong command of agile or classical project methodologies; certification preferred (PMI/PMP, Prince2, IPMA, Scrum PSPO/PSM, LeSS, or SAFe Agilist)
- Passion for delivering outstanding IT projects including websites, intranets, mobile apps, digital application systems, or specialized business applications
- Enthusiasm for complex technical challenges and client engagement, with intuition for client needs and ability to identify business development opportunities
- Excellent communication skills enabling confident interaction across all organizational levels, with ability to convey complex topics clearly and appropriately for different audiences
- Completed university degree
- Fluency in German and English, both written and spoken
