Trainer / Pädagogische Fachkraft (m/w/d) für berufliche Orientierung und Kompetenzentwicklung

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential education and workforce development organization in Berlin seeking a skilled trainer and pedagogical specialist to support individuals in recognizing their competencies, exploring career opportunities, and preparing for further training or career transitions.

In this role, you will design and facilitate learning and group processes that translate diverse participant backgrounds into tailored educational pathways. Your responsibilities include:

• Planning, preparing, and delivering target-group-appropriate group sessions and learning units
• Contributing to potential analyses through observations, hands-on exercises, simulations, and job-related work samples
• Providing information about career profiles, labor market trends, qualification pathways, and continuing education opportunities
• Fostering personal competencies including motivation, performance capability, self-image, and realistic self-assessment
• Developing social and methodological skills such as communication, teamwork, conflict resolution, problem-solving, and work organization
• Strengthening intercultural competencies as well as IT and media literacy
• Guiding participants in independent research, self-directed task completion, and use of digital learning and job center resources
• Providing individualized learning support and appropriate differentiation within heterogeneous groups
• Documenting learning progress and maintaining close coordination with job coaches and social work professionals

You will create a respectful and activating learning environment that combines pedagogical structure with clear connections to professional practice.

What We're Looking For

• Recognized professional or academic degree with at least one year of experience in vocational integration with the target population
• Demonstrated pedagogical qualification through master craftsman examination, trainer aptitude certification, pedagogical supplementary studies, or comparable additional qualification
• Professional experience in training or continuing education, preferably in adult education
• Confident use of digital media and teaching-learning concepts with ability to prepare content appropriately for target groups
• Structured, motivating, team-oriented working style with flexibility for cross-project assignments
• German language proficiency required for this Berlin-based position
