Working Student – Logistics (f/m/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential clean-tech hardware company in the Ludwigsburg area. They are looking for a Working Student to join their logistics operations team on-site. This is a hands-on role where you will be responsible for the day-to-day execution of shipping, receiving, and warehouse coordination—keeping goods moving accurately and on time while maintaining visibility for internal stakeholders.

This is not a remote position. You will work directly on the warehouse floor alongside the operations team, managing physical inventory and carrier coordination in real time.

Responsibilities

• Receive and verify incoming deliveries against purchase orders; create item receipts in the ERP system and flag discrepancies immediately
• Pick, pack, and dispatch outgoing shipments including finished goods and spare parts in line with customer orders and internal requests
• Select appropriate carriers and service levels for each shipment; book collections and maintain carrier accounts and documentation
• Coordinate daily with external warehouse partners to ensure timely order fulfilment across all markets
• Unpack, inspect, and document customer returns; route items to quality or repair workflows with full traceability
• Prepare accurate shipping documentation including commercial invoices, packing lists, and delivery notes
• Proactively update Sales and Customer Management teams on shipment status; resolve carrier exceptions and escalate delays early
• Maintain clean, labelled, and accurately stocked warehouse locations aligned with ERP records

What We're Looking For

• Currently enrolled in a degree program in logistics, supply chain management, business administration, or a related field
• Reliable and committed to consistent on-site attendance coordinated around your university schedule
• Precise and detail-oriented—you understand that documentation errors have real consequences in logistics
• Proactive communicator who raises issues and shares updates without being prompted
• Comfortable using ERP systems, carrier portals, and spreadsheets as part of daily workflows
• Fluent in both German and English (essential for working with carriers, partners, and customers)
