Sales Engineer – France

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential cloud security organization seeking a Sales Engineer to join their France-based team in a remote capacity. In this role, you will serve as a pivotal technical partner to prospective customers, translating complex security requirements into compelling, tailored recommendations.

Your core responsibilities will include:

• Presenting cloud security platform capabilities to enterprise prospects across France
• Setting technical vision and translating business goals into relevant security recommendations
• Acting as a trusted advisor to clients during their security transformation initiatives
• Gathering detailed technical requirements and articulating value propositions through proof-of-value engagements, presentations, and live demonstrations
• Collaborating with sales teams to identify, qualify, and scope opportunities using value-based selling methodologies

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• 5+ years of experience as a Sales Engineer or Solutions Consultant in enterprise technology
• Foundational understanding of AI/ML technologies and experience leveraging or securing AI-driven solutions
• Strong knowledge of enterprise network or cloud security technologies
• Proven experience working with value selling methodologies in technical pre-sales environments
• Track record of delivering presentations, demos, and proof-of-concept engagements
• Fluency in French (required for this market)

Preferred qualifications that will make you stand out:

• Experience positioning AI-driven threat intelligence or automated security frameworks to enterprise clients
• Cloud platform certifications and security credentials such as CISSP or CCNP
• Technical expertise in SASE, proxy technology, cybersecurity, IPS, DLP, CASB, or CNAPP solutions
