Our talent team at Get A Job.ai is representing a confidential AI technology organization seeking a Senior Software Engineer to join their language products division in London. This is a full-stack role with a front-end emphasis, focused on building sophisticated media translation interfaces and workflows that serve both individual users and global enterprises.

You'll be working on core translation products that handle complex multimedia formats while maintaining an intuitive, responsive user experience. This role combines technical depth with product thinking—you'll own features end-to-end, from UI architecture to backend document processing systems.

Responsibilities

• Architect and build user-facing features across primary translation products, including document translation flows for PDF, Word, and PowerPoint formats
• Design and implement front-end interfaces that balance simplicity for casual users with power features for enterprise localization workflows
• Make high-stakes technical decisions around state management, API integrations, and performance optimization
• Collaborate with research, product, and design teams to translate AI capabilities into intuitive user experiences
• Build transparency and performance metrics directly into product features
• Prototype rapidly, measure user friction, and iterate based on real usage patterns
• Handle complex backend logic for parsing and translating documents while preserving formatting integrity

What We're Looking For

• Strong front-end engineering skills with expertise in React and modern JavaScript/TypeScript
• Full-stack capability with backend experience in Python and C#/.NET Core
• Product-first mindset—you ask "why" before building and measure success by user adoption
• System thinking for UI/UX: understanding how simple interfaces can manage complex backend states and workflows
• High agency and bias for action—comfortable unblocking yourself and making decisions with incomplete information
• Experience building performant, interactive interfaces that handle large document states and complex business logic
• Ability to balance consumer-grade polish with enterprise-level functionality and reliability
• Strong communication skills and comfort working with cross-functional teams
