Logistics Manager – Retail & D2C (m/f/d)

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-scaling beverage brand in Berlin that is expanding rapidly across both direct-to-consumer and retail channels. Our client is transitioning into a true omnichannel operation, and they need a hands-on Logistics Manager to own retail order fulfillment while supporting D2C operations.

This is a highly operational role. You'll ensure retail orders ship complete and on time, manage 3PL relationships, monitor KPIs, and coordinate across internal teams to keep everything running smoothly. If you're the type who spots problems early and fixes them before they escalate, this role is for you.

Responsibilities

• Take end-to-end ownership of retail order preparation, completeness, and on-time shipment performance (OTIF)
• Coordinate display assembly, capacity planning, timelines, and escalations for retail partners
• Support D2C fulfillment operations including inventory flow, replenishment, and delivery performance
• Act as operational point of contact for 3PL fulfillment partners across both retail and D2C
• Monitor SLA adherence and resolve deviations in speed, accuracy, availability, or cost efficiency
• Track logistics KPIs and transform partner reports and dashboards into actionable insights
• Maintain SOPs, documentation, and performance reporting for internal visibility
• Bridge communication between Logistics, Sales, E-Commerce, Customer Service, Supply Chain, and external partners
• Lead root-cause investigations and coordinate swift resolutions to protect customer experience
• Identify and implement process improvements and cost-reduction opportunities

What We're Looking For

• Proven experience taking full end-to-end responsibility for retail order readiness and OTIF performance
• Track record managing 3PL fulfillment partners operationally—holding them to SLAs and resolving deviations quickly
• Strong cross-functional coordination skills; comfortable acting as a bridge between multiple departments in a fast-paced environment
• Analytical mindset with ability to turn reports and dashboards into early warnings and actionable insights
• Fluency in both English and German required
• Hands-on, problem-solving mentality with ownership mindset

Pay

Compensation details will be discussed during the screening process and are competitive for the Berlin market. Our client also offers equity participation.
