AI Consultant (all genders) – Hybrid, Berlin/Frankfurt

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential machine learning consultancy in Germany that builds custom AI solutions for enterprise clients across manufacturing, transportation, e-commerce, and energy sectors. They are seeking an AI Consultant to bridge the gap between data science teams and business stakeholders.

In this role, you will:

• Prepare and lead technical workshops with client decision-makers to assess AI use cases, evaluate data readiness, and determine project feasibility
• Translate workshop outcomes into concrete technical roadmaps and collaborate with ML engineering teams on effort estimation and proposal development
• Build hands-on prototypes and small demos using client data to make workshop results immediately tangible
• Provide technical expertise during discovery calls and feasibility assessments while the sales team handles commercial negotiations
• Develop and refine reusable workshop frameworks and templates for future client engagements
• Serve as the technical face of the organization for specific industry verticals

What We're Looking For

• Strong degree in a quantitative field such as data science, computer science, mathematics, physics, or engineering
• Ideally 2 to 5 years of consulting experience with direct client project exposure across multiple industries
• Solid understanding of machine learning model fundamentals and database systems
• Practical data science experience and coding skills in Python strongly preferred
• Hands-on approach with ability to rapidly build working prototypes
• Confident client presence with ability to moderate discussions and explain technical concepts to both business and IT audiences
• Business-fluent German for the DACH market and fluent English for internal collaboration
• Team-oriented mindset with enthusiasm for knowledge sharing and direct feedback
• Location: Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin or Frankfurt, Germany; hybrid work model with office presence required
