About This Opportunity
Our talent team is representing a confidential industrial trading organization that is transforming how materials move across European and global markets. This is a strategic Procurement Manager role based in Berlin, where you'll take ownership of supplier relationships, negotiate significant contracts, and drive operational excellence in a technology-forward environment.
Responsibilities
- Identify, engage, and onboard suppliers across Europe and international markets
- Lead commercial negotiations for pricing, payment terms, and contracts involving significant procurement spend
- Build and maintain strong supplier relationships that ensure reliable supply and support business growth
- Develop and execute strategic procurement plans aligned with company objectives
- Collaborate with sales and operations teams to resolve issues and improve processes
- Analyze performance data, track procurement KPIs, and deliver actionable insights to optimize supply chain operations
- Monitor market trends, supplier capabilities, and pricing structures to adjust strategy accordingly
- Identify cost-saving opportunities and drive continuous improvement initiatives
- Support long-term sourcing plans and risk mitigation strategies
- Resolve supplier-related concerns including quality, delivery, or compliance issues
What We're Looking For
- Proven experience in procurement sourcing and supply chain contracting
- Strong analytical and negotiation skills with the ability to articulate complex subjects clearly and confidently
- Hands-on mentality with a track record of taking ownership and solving problems independently
- Comfort thriving in dynamic, fast-paced environments
- Motivation to work in a technology-driven environment and curiosity about AI applications in supply chain
- Fluency in French and/or Italian is required
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English

Pay
Pay via Get A Job.ai: €70,000 – €90,000 yearly on-target earnings (fixed salary plus performance-based bonus).
