Responsibilities

We are representing a public-sector client in Münster seeking a Technical Facility Operations Specialist for building services and utilities. In this role, you will oversee and monitor technical systems and supply infrastructure to ensure reliable, continuous operation.

Your key responsibilities include:

• Supervising technical installations and utility systems, ensuring operational reliability and compliance with safety standards
• Coordinating and documenting maintenance schedules, inspections, and regulatory testing procedures
• Accompanying external service providers during on-site maintenance and repair activities
• Monitoring technical operating parameters and safety thresholds, analyzing system malfunctions, and supporting rapid fault resolution
• Testing emergency systems, monitoring equipment, and supply networks to maintain readiness at all times
• Maintaining comprehensive technical documentation and asset records
• Providing technical support during emergencies and urgent incidents outside regular working hours as needed

What We're Looking For

Our ideal candidate brings proven experience in facility operations and technical maintenance:

• Completed vocational training as a Mechatronics Technician, Electrical Systems Technician, Plant Mechanic, or comparable technical qualification
• Several years of hands-on experience as an Operations Technician, Maintenance Technician, or Service Technician supporting large-scale technical installations or utility systems
• Knowledge of facility services engineering, measurement and control systems, or handling of technical gases and cryogenic installations is advantageous
• Valid Class B driving license
• Strong technical aptitude with a pronounced sense of safety awareness and personal accountability
• Structured, reliable, and self-directed working style with excellent organizational skills
• Ability to respond to technical emergencies and participate in on-call rotations when required
