Junior SEO Manager (m/w/d) – Customer Success Manager

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential digital marketing organization seeking a Junior SEO Manager to take ownership of real client projects. In this role, you will:

• Manage SEO campaigns by selecting appropriate publishers based on traffic, domain authority, and topical relevance, deploying campaign budgets strategically for client success
• Take over new clients after the sales handoff, clarify priorities, guide onboarding processes, and build trust-based relationships
• Provide data-driven consulting by analyzing performance trends, identifying opportunities, and delivering regular, clear recommendations to clients
• Utilize modern tools including Ahrefs, Google Search Console, and AI-powered automation to create analyses while technology handles routine tasks
• Conduct morning performance reviews, check ranking trends across your client portfolio, and prioritize daily activities
• Analyze landing pages, select suitable backlink publishers, and prepare campaign execution steps
• Lead client calls to discuss campaign progress, explain data in accessible terms, and capture new objectives
• Perform quality checks on active placements, document learnings, and prepare niche analyses

What We're Looking For

• Initial experience in SEO, marketing, agency environments, e-commerce, or completion of a digital marketing study program or apprenticeship
• Understanding of SEO fundamentals including rankings, domain rating, backlinks, and content strategy—you don't need to be a senior expert, but genuine interest in digital marketing is essential
• Analytical mindset with enthusiasm for working with metrics and productively implementing new AI tools
• Strong communication skills with fluency in German, able to explain complex topics in simple, approachable language
• Self-driven approach to managing client relationships and campaign budgets independently
