Responsibilities
We are representing a confidential developer tools organization in their search for a Senior Software Engineer to join an innovative product team working on AI-assisted debugging solutions for production environments. In this role, you will:
- Design, build, and lead the development of product features focused on production system safety and reliability
- Develop tooling and automation for AI-first engineering workflows
- Work on enterprise integrations and deployment scenarios across Kubernetes and cloud environments
- Improve reliability, testing, performance, and security for production use
What We're Looking For
Our client seeks a proactive engineer excited by complex challenges at the intersection of production systems, developer tools, and AI agents. Essential qualifications include:
- Extensive experience with Java, Kotlin, and JVM systems
- Background in enterprise backend software, infrastructure, or developer tooling
- Comfort working with Kubernetes and cloud environments
- Ability to take ownership, communicate clearly, and move things forward independently
- Experience using AI in development while maintaining solid engineering discipline
Bonus qualifications:
- Experience with debugging, instrumentation, or observability-related tools
- Experience with.NET or Python backend products
