Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential consulting organization focused on the public sector. In this role, you will lead transformation and organizational development projects for municipal and public-sector clients. Your responsibilities include:

• Leading consulting projects of varying scope within public-sector organizations, guiding them through their individual transformation needs
• Analyzing organizational structures, identifying change potential and obstacles, and developing tailored strategies and solutions in collaboration with stakeholders
• Advising organizations on strategic future-readiness, helping them build resilience and develop future-oriented competencies
• Acquiring new projects, maintaining client relationships, and continuously expanding your professional network
• Delivering systemic consulting with a clear focus on impact and sustainable change

What We're Looking For

• At least 2-3 years of experience in management consulting, with a track record of leading consulting projects across different client contexts, ideally within public administration or large corporate environments
• Excellent analytical capabilities for identifying resistance, risks, and opportunities in change and organizational development processes
• Deep expertise in a consulting-relevant domain such as organizational development or process optimization
• Strong interpersonal skills, conflict resolution competency, and experience communicating with diverse audiences from staff to executive leadership
• High flexibility and adaptability to changing requirements and priorities
• Interest in technological trends (especially AI) and ideally initial experience with their impact and application potential
• Willingness to travel regularly for client engagements
• German language proficiency required; location is Düsseldorf
