Responsibilities

We are representing a well-established civil engineering consultancy in Munich seeking a Building Inspection Engineer to join their structures preservation team. In this role, you will:

• Prepare, conduct, and analyze structural inspections according to DIN 1076, VDI 6200, and VV WSV2101 standards, working collaboratively to ensure the highest quality outcomes
• Plan and execute diagnostic projects including object-specific damage analyses and detailed structural investigations, delivering clear and reliable findings
• Perform thorough condition assessments of existing structures with precision and attention to detail
• Prepare well-founded rehabilitation concepts, damage assessments, and expert opinions that provide clients with a solid foundation for decision-making

What We're Looking For

• Completed degree in Civil Engineering with a focus on structural engineering
• Enthusiasm for fieldwork at existing structures and buildings
• Valid Class B driver's license
• Proficiency with technical software including AutoCAD, SIB Bauwerke, ZIS-ING, WSV-Prüf, and CorelDRAW
• Excellent German language skills, both written and verbal
• Self-motivated with a structured approach and strong work ethic
• Open, motivated team player with strong interpersonal skills
• VFIB certification as a structural inspector is desirable but not required
