[GLOBAL/INT] [MARKETING] Principal Marketing Analyst (all genders)

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential B2C subscription company seeking a Principal Marketing Analyst to serve as the strategic architect for global reactivation initiatives. In this senior role, you will own the technical roadmap and measurement frameworks that drive executive decision-making, bridging complex data ecosystems with high-level business strategy.

Your responsibilities will include:

• Partnering with marketing and growth leadership to define KPI trees and measurement frameworks that align reactivation efforts with long-term business objectives
• Architecting advanced analytics solutions using BigQuery, GA4, and behavioral datasets to uncover insights into churn patterns and lifecycle optimization
• Designing and analyzing rigorous A/B tests and incremental lift studies to ensure marketing strategies deliver clear ROI
• Leading the integration of AI and automation tools to build scalable, self-service reporting assets
• Developing automated dashboards that democratize data access across the organization
• Advocating for technical excellence by standardizing data schemas and mentoring junior analysts in SQL and Python best practices
• Translating complex statistical concepts into persuasive executive-level narratives that influence strategic decisions and budget allocations
• Collaborating with cross-functional teams to analyze customer lifecycle data and provide actionable recommendations

What We're Looking For

Our client seeks a senior analytics professional with deep expertise in customer retention and lifecycle optimization:

• 7+ years of experience in Customer or Marketing Analytics, including retention metrics, A/B testing, and analytics in fast-paced B2C or subscription environments
• Advanced SQL and BigQuery expertise, including complex query writing, optimization, data modeling, and large-scale dataset analysis
• Strong Python and Excel skills for data analysis, automation, and reporting (pandas, numpy, advanced formulas, pivot tables)
• Familiarity with AI tools like ChatGPT, Claude, or Copilot is a plus
• Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Tableau, Looker, or Google Data Studio
• Solid statistical capabilities including regression, clustering, and time series analysis
• Ability to transform ambiguous problems into structured, results-driven recommendations
• Collaborative, business-focused mindset with enthusiasm for solving customer engagement challenges through data
• Strong communication skills with the ability to explain technical concepts to executives and mentor team members
• Ability to independently scope, prioritize, and deliver impactful solutions while balancing analytical rigor with speed
