About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential technology organization seeking a Data Engineer to join their team in Colombia. This role focuses on supporting the operational execution of data migration activities and DataMart decommissioning projects. You'll work closely with technical leadership to ensure proper execution, validation, and continuity of data processes while helping reduce the operational burden on the technical team.
Responsibilities
- Execute and monitor ETL/ELT processes and data pipelines
- Perform troubleshooting and resolve incidents related to data processes and workflows
- Execute data validation and reconciliation tests to ensure quality and consistency
- Support operational activities for data migration and DataMart decommissioning
- Document processes, incidents, solutions, and technical procedures
- Track assigned activities and report progress or findings to technical leadership
What We're Looking For
- Minimum 3 years of experience in Data Engineering or similar roles
- Strong proficiency in SQL
- Experience with ETL/ELT processes and data pipeline management
- Proven troubleshooting and incident resolution capabilities
- Experience performing data validation and reconciliation
- Ability to create and maintain technical documentation
- Located in Colombia
