About This Opportunity

We are representing a luxury fashion brand in Berlin that is seeking a (Senior) Collection Merchandiser to lead their footwear category. Our client is a design-focused organization operating in both direct-to-consumer and wholesale channels. Responsibilities

• Develop and implement long-term assortment strategy for the footwear category, balancing brand vision with commercial objectives across D2C and B2B channels
• Lead seasonal collection creation in partnership with design and product development teams, ensuring collections reflect brand identity and resonate with target customers
• Own range planning, line plans, and critical path management for the category, ensuring all milestones and deadlines are met
• Analyze market trends, competitor activity, and consumer insights to inform strategic merchandising decisions
• Schedule and coordinate cross-functional meetings with appropriate stakeholders across design, sales, marketing, and operations
• Collaborate with marketing and creative teams to develop compelling product stories and campaigns
• Partner with sales teams to gather wholesale partner feedback and translate insights into assortment adjustments
• Monitor category performance, identifying growth opportunities and areas for improvement through data analysis
• Work with operations to ensure smooth product delivery and availability across all channels

What We're Looking For

• 4-5 years of proven experience in merchandising or product management within luxury fashion, ideally with footwear focus
• Strong understanding of luxury market dynamics, including both D2C and B2B business models
• Excellent project management skills with ability to manage multiple stakeholders and meet tight deadlines
• Strong analytical capabilities to translate data into actionable commercial insights
• Exceptional communication and collaboration skills, with proven ability to build relationships across departments
• Deep passion for luxury fashion, design, and craftsmanship
• Based in or willing to relocate to Berlin
