Claims Handler – Travel

About This Opportunity

We are representing a fast-growing third-party administrator in the insurance sector, and we're searching for a Travel Claims Handler to join their remote team across the UK.

This is an excellent opportunity for a claims professional with 2+ years of experience who wants to accelerate their career development in a high-performance environment that rewards talent and results over tenure alone.

Responsibilities

• Handle travel insurance claims end to end, from first notification through to settlement
• Communicate clearly with policyholders throughout the claims journey to ensure a positive experience
• Review documentation, verify coverage, and assess liability with accuracy
• Set appropriate reserves and manage claims within your delegated authority
• Identify potential fraud indicators and escalate cases as appropriate
• Maintain thorough and accurate claims records for audit and compliance purposes
• Contribute to process improvement by identifying and flagging inefficiencies

What We're Looking For

• Based in the UK or Ireland with valid work authorisation
• 2+ years of claims handling experience in travel, health, or similar insurance lines
• Strong organisational skills with the ability to prioritise work independently
• Comfortable using data to inform decision-making
• Team-oriented mindset with ambition and strong work ethic
• Experience leading, mentoring, or coaching others is a plus
• Startup or high-growth company experience is beneficial but not required

Pay

Pay via Get A Job.ai: £25,000 – £35,000 base salary. The client also offers equity participation, quarterly performance bonuses up to 15% of quarterly salary, health insurance, pension contributions, and 28 days annual leave.
