Project Director, Qualitative Research

About This Opportunity

We are representing a confidential healthcare research organization seeking a Project Director, Qualitative Research to lead client service operations in the UK. This is a remote leadership role focused on managing qualitative research projects and developing high-performing teams within the healthcare market research space.

Responsibilities

As Project Director, you will:

• Manage and mentor a client service team, providing coaching and professional development
• Oversee project delivery to ensure completion on time and within budget
• Handle project escalations, partnering with internal stakeholders to resolve issues and maintain client satisfaction
• Build and maintain strong relationships with clients in the healthcare research sector
• Monitor productivity and data collection quality across your team's portfolio
• Oversee billing processes and ensure projects achieve expected profitability
• Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement process improvements and system enhancements
• Execute client service improvement plans, ensuring a solution-oriented approach across all client touchpoints
• Support the development of best practices and policies for client service delivery

What We're Looking For

Required:

• 5+ years of experience in qualitative market research
• 3+ years of project management experience
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience preferred
• Exceptional time management and organizational skills with strong attention to detail
• Proven ability to work under pressure and meet tight deadlines
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills
• Strong Microsoft Office proficiency (Excel, Outlook, Word)
• Well-developed analytical and problem-solving abilities
• Ability to work both autonomously and collaboratively to meet departmental objectives

Preferred:

• Experience in healthcare-focused market research
• Background managing complex research projects involving programming, intricate sampling, international coordination, translations, or patient recruitment
• Previous leadership or team management experience in online healthcare research
