(Senior) Consultant – Data Architecture

Responsibilities

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a talented Data Architecture Consultant to join their team on a remote basis in Germany.

In this role, you will guide challenging agile consulting projects from business analysis and conceptual design through to technical implementation and data integration. Your responsibilities will include:

• Leading the conceptual and technical design, development, and optimization of data architectures across the full project lifecycle
• Taking ownership of data engineering tasks, business analysis, and designing data architecture solutions including storage systems and integration patterns
• Applying modern methodologies and technologies to develop highly efficient, transparent, and high-quality data architecture solutions
• Assuming responsibility for your work streams and leading sub-projects and project teams on architectural matters
• Contributing to internal communities and initiatives, developing best practices, and implementing your own ideas beyond client project work

What We're Looking For

Our talent team is seeking candidates with:

• A successfully completed university degree in Computer Science, Business Informatics, Engineering, or Natural Sciences
• Several years of relevant practical project experience in conceptual design and implementation of data architectures and data storage technologies, including ELT and ETL processes
• Project experience implementing solutions on-premises or in cloud environments
• Experience with conceptual data modeling and practical data engineering, building data structures, and strong knowledge of various database systems (SQL or NoSQL)
• Strong team collaboration skills with excellent analytical and conceptual abilities
• Fluent German and English language skills
• Unrestricted mobility for national and international travel
