(Senior) Consultant* – Meldewesen / Regulatory Reporting

Responsibilities

Our talent team is representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a Senior Consultant for Regulatory Reporting and KYC Risk Management. In this role, you will support clients in strengthening their KYC and AML frameworks at the intersection of regulation, operations, and technology.

Your core responsibilities include:

• Leading the development and enhancement of KYC risk management frameworks in accordance with regulatory requirements and internal policies
• Identifying, assessing, and monitoring KYC risks throughout onboarding, periodic reviews, and event-driven examination processes
• Developing and maintaining risk methodologies, assessments, and control standards for KYC processes
• Analyzing KYC metrics and trends to identify emerging risks and control gaps
• Collaborating closely with compliance, operations, audit, and technology teams to minimize risk and implement remediation measures

What We're Looking For

Required qualifications:

• Proven experience in KYC, AML, or Financial Crime Risk Management within financial services or consulting
• Strong understanding of regulatory requirements surrounding KYC, Customer Due Diligence (CDD), and Enhanced Due Diligence (EDD)
• Experience developing risk frameworks, methodologies, and control mechanisms
• Ability to distill complex issues for diverse audiences and communicate effectively with senior stakeholders
• Analytical mindset with demonstrated experience identifying trends, risks, and control weaknesses
• Fluent German and English language skills

Preferred qualifications:

• Familiarity with KYC technologies, systems, and tools such as onboarding platforms and screening solutions
• Experience working at the IT interface with understanding of system landscapes
• Knowledge of data flows and system integrations within the KYC environment
• Project experience in consulting or transformation initiatives
• Relevant AML/Compliance certifications such as CAMS
