(Senior) Consultant* – SEPA-Payments

We are representing a confidential financial services organization seeking a (Senior) Consultant specializing in SEPA-Payments. This is a remote position based in Germany, offering the opportunity to work on transformative payment systems projects with a leading client in the sector.

Responsibilities

• Lead and support challenging consulting projects within the payment processing environment, covering business analysis, functional design, testing, and implementation oversight
• Work closely with client stakeholders, applying your experience and insights to deliver optimal solutions
• Take progressive ownership of project workstreams, advancing to sub-project leadership and managing small project teams
• Ensure high client satisfaction through solution-oriented collaboration and effective communication

What We're Looking For

• Strong interest and demonstrable experience in SEPA-Payments, including familiarity with payment message formats (pain, pacs, camt)
• Knowledge of SEPA concepts and processes such as SCL, STEP2, SCT, SDD, Clearing & Settlement, and R-Transactions
• Team-oriented professional with strong analytical and conceptual skills
• Client-focused mindset with the ability to influence and drive decisions
• Fluent German and English language skills (both written and spoken)
• Willingness to travel nationally and internationally as project requirements dictate
• Consultant or Senior Consultant level experience preferred
