About This Opportunity
We are representing a confidential professional services organization seeking an Appian Engineer, Consultant to join their AI and engineering practice in Atlanta, Georgia. Our client helps enterprises transform technology platforms, drive innovation, and achieve measurable business outcomes through process automation and low-code solutions.
In this role, you will design and implement Appian-based solutions that reimagine critical business operations. You'll collaborate with cross-functional teams to accelerate digital initiatives, improve financial performance, and deliver intelligent automation that fuels organizational growth.
Responsibilities
- Design, develop, and deploy Appian applications that solve complex business challenges
- Configure workflows, business rules, and integrations within the Appian platform
- Collaborate with stakeholders to gather requirements and translate them into technical solutions
- Participate in all phases of the implementation lifecycle from planning through deployment
- Troubleshoot and optimize existing Appian applications for performance and scalability
- Provide technical guidance and mentorship to junior team members
- Stay current with Appian platform updates and emerging low-code best practices
What We're Looking For
- Demonstrated experience developing applications on the Appian platform
- Strong understanding of BPM concepts, process modeling, and workflow automation
- Experience with Appian objects including process models, records, interfaces, expressions, and integrations
- Knowledge of SQL, web services, and API integration patterns
- Consulting or client-facing experience in a professional services environment
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field preferred
- Appian certifications (Associate Developer or higher) are a strong plus
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to travel to client sites as needed
