Programmatic Analyst – Alternance (H/F/X)

We are representing a confidential digital media agency seeking a Programmatic Analyst for an alternance (work-study) position in Paris. Our client is an established player in the programmatic advertising space, working with diverse brands across strategic digital campaigns.

Responsibilities

In this role, you will contribute to programmatic campaign operations, analysis, and business development alongside Trading, Media Buying, Sales, and Strategy teams. Your daily activities will include:

• Campaign setup and creative verification: Prepare setup templates for new campaigns, verify creative assets meet technical specifications for ad platforms and DSPs, and conduct audits to identify discrepancies
• Performance reporting and campaign recaps: Compile performance data from DSPs and reporting tools, prepare presentation materials, participate in client debrief meetings, and formulate recommendations for future campaigns
• Strategic campaign analysis: Conduct in-depth analysis of top-performing campaigns, identify key performance drivers, and produce actionable insights to support commercial teams
• Macro-level performance analysis: Perform cross-campaign analysis to identify global trends, success patterns, and recurring failure causes while building an internal knowledge base
• Programmatic ecosystem expertise: Develop knowledge of the programmatic landscape (DSP, SSP, audiences, formats), master the client's service catalogue, conduct market monitoring, and contribute to new programmatic offering development
• Media planning and RFP support: Participate in media plan projections and contribute to programmatic RFP responses with Sales teams
• Billing management: Track client invoicing, verify alignment between bookings and invoiced amounts, and help resolve discrepancies via CRM systems

What We're Looking For

Essential qualifications:

• Currently enrolled in a Bac+3 to Bac+5 program (digital marketing, business, communications, or business school)
• Strong proficiency in Excel and office productivity tools
• Analytical mindset with ability to interpret and present campaign performance data
• Fluency in French (required); English skills appreciated
• Rigorous, organized, and detail-oriented approach
• Curiosity and genuine interest in learning the digital advertising profession
• Comfort working with numbers and data analysis
• Collaborative team player who thrives on challenges
• Proactive, dynamic, and solution-oriented
